The shelf surface is made of type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel with a satin finish that cuts back on the amount of fingerprinting that can be seen on its surface, in turn, decreasing the amount of maintenance necessary to keep the shelf looking great. The shelf is 14-9/16 inches in length and is 5-13/16 inches wide. When properly installed, the shelf can support up to 100 pounds of weight. Installation is accomplished with hardware provided by the manufacturer and the unit's 18-gauge, type-304 stainless steel mounting bracket, which is positioned under the shelf.
