Why are there different options available?
All candidates must take the compulsory Language component along with two of the optional Literature components which can be chosen based on what you are interested in studying. Please make sure you carefully select the correct combination of paper options when you book your exam.

Is there a speaking exam?
No, GCSE Latin is only assessed by written exams.

Am I allowed a dictionary in the exams?
No, dictionaries are not allowed for any of the exams.

Do I need additional equipment for the exams?
All answers must be written in black pen.
