生地は、ウール+ポリエステル混紡のトリコチンを使用。
トリコチンとはキャバリーツイルやギャバジンに似た畝の高い綾織の生地のことで、とても品のある綺麗めな素材です。
丸洗い可能で、洗っても型崩れや縮みなどが殆どない生地です。
このT-54 SLACKSは、50年代のアメリカ陸軍・QMC(アメリカ陸軍需品科)が試作したテストサンプルトラウザーズが基となるアイテムです。
シルエットもフィールドパンツのように太めですが、日常着として穿き易いように裾口に向けて緩くテーパードさせ改良してあります。
フィールドパンツの重厚な雰囲気と、軽くて機動性重視のB.D.Uパンツ、ちょうどその中間のようなアイテムに仕上げています。
