De ELRO Connects SF500S Rookmelder Kit is een complete set om op een slimme manier je woning te beveiligen tegen brand. De kit is gebaseerd op het ELRO Connects systeem en is helemaal in te stellen, aan te passen en te besturen met je smartphone en/of tablet met de gebruiksvriendelijke ELRO Connects 2.0 App. Deze set is een uitgebreid pakket bestaande uit: De ELRO Connects K2 Connector en 3 ELRO Connects Rookmelders.

Deze rookmelders van ELRO beschikken over een hoge kwaliteit optische sensor. Deze sensor reageert snel op brand, geeft minder vaak vals alarm en is erg milieuvriendelijk. Bij brand geeft de rookmelder een alarm van maar liefst 85 decibel. Omdat de melders draadloos met elkaar te koppelen zijn, geven alle rookmelders een alarmsignaal wanneer één melder rook detecteert. Ook krijg je een alarmmelding op je smartphone via de ELRO Connects 2.0 App, zodat je ook gewaarschuwd wordt wanneer je niet thuis bent.

Deze rookmelder set werkt op de stabiele en storingsvrije 868MHz frequentie en haalt een afstand van tot 100m. Het ELRO Connects systeem is uitbreidbaar met diverse andere ELRO Connects producten zoals plug-in schakelaars, bewegingsmelders, CO-melders en diverse andere gevaren melders.

Het ELRO Connects systeem maakt Smart Home extreem makkelijk en toegankelijk. Het gebruik van het systeem is zeer eenvoudig gemaakt en de installatie kost je slechts 5 minuten. Dankzij de ELRO Connects 2.0 App wordt je altijd gewaarschuwd wanneer er iets gebeurd in je woning, ook wanneer je niet thuis bent.

De ELRO Connects K2 Connector beschikt over een ingebouwde sirene en geeft een luid alarm van 85dB wanneer een gekoppelde melder rook detecteert. Ook beschikt de connector over LED verlichting welke de huidige status aangeeft van het systeem.

Installatie

De installatie van deze ELRO Connects SF500S Rookmelder Kit is zeer eenvoudig. Het enige dat je hoeft te doen is de ELRO Connects 2.0 App te downloaden en de connector in het stopcontact te steken. Via de app koppel je vervolgens op een heel eenvoudige manier de connector aan je smartphone. Hierna kun je in de app de ELRO Connects Rookmelders koppelen aan je systeem. A family member got frothed milk in their coffee and loved it, so they started doing it at home. They were using a wand mixer which is great at splashing milk all over creation but not very good at actually frothing it. I asked them what kind of frother they wanted and they gave me 2 criteria: Rechargeable, and inexpensive. They didn't want to spend a lot on something they might not like or might outgrow, and they didn't want to constantly be looking for batteries. This frother fits the bill. It recharges with a regular USB-C cable and comes with a short one (but not a wall plug so make sure you have one of those). It was also less than $11 delivered so not a lot to gamble on an occasional-use gadget. Does it work? Absolutely, and a lot better than I ever thought it would. I was given a demonstration and in 10 seconds I saw a small cup of half and half turn into frothy foam. I'll admit, it does taste pretty good in coffee. I 3D printed a stand to hold the mixer upright on the counter. Otherwise the base is too small and it tips over. That's not a complaint, just an observation. If you want it to stand upright, you'll have to do something similar. Otherwise, this thing is a good combination of simple, inexpensive, and effective.
