Lavendula intermedia (Grosso) Hydrosol has a sharp, somewhat camphoraceous scent. "Grosso" hydrosol has a place in any first aid kit, especially those who spend time outdoors. Useful and effective for treating sunburn, rashes, bug bites and the like, it also makes an excellent skin toner. Don't expect hydrosols to smell like the essential oil. As a byproduct of the distillation process, this has a much earthier, herbal scent. 

Lavendula angustifolia (Blend) Hydrosol is a blend of our Royal Velvet, Melissa & Folgate flowers. The L. angustifolia's have a "sweeter" scent than the L. intermedia's and this is reflected in both the product and the price (angustifolia's are much stingier than intermedia's). Try adding a few drops of essential oil to this hydrosol; lemon, orange, chamomile and mints all play well here. Mist face, body, linens, laundry...
