Stichtite is only found in South Africa and Tasmania. Obviously we visited the Mountainous forestry area of Kaap se Hoek near Barberton, Mpumalanga in S. A to get this rough material

Nice, large,133 mm high, rare Silky Purple Stichtite and Green Serpentine Standing Display Piece. Mostly Purple with nice contrasting Green Serpentine in Island patterns. Slight Chatoyancy to the purple Stichtite threads running through it. Rare Item.
Stichtite is only found in South Africa and Tasmania. Obviously we visited the Mountainous forestry area of Kaap se Hoek near Barberton, Mpumalanga in S.A to get this rough material to make this (but if anybody from Dundas, Tasmania wishes to send me a ticket to fetch some Stichtite from their side, Down Under, this would not be a problem!)
