This compact satellite communicator marine bundle helps the user stay connected to loved ones back home when off the grid, adding peace of mind to every boating adventure. In addition to the inReach Mini 2, this marine pack includes; a Marine Mount, Spine Mount Adapter, Floatation lanyard, and a 12V Power Cable.

Marine Bundle: The bundle includes a screw down mount and power cable, to mount the inReach satellite communicator at the helm for easy access in a moment’s notice.

Two-Way Messaging: Exchange text messages with loved ones back home, post to social media, or communicate inReach to inReach in the field.

Interactive SOS Alerts: In case of emergency, trigger an interactive SOS message to the Garmin IERCC, a 24/7 staffed emergency response coordination centre.

Location Sharing: Share current location with loved ones back home at any time using the MapShare page or with coordinates embedded in messages.

Global Satellite Network: Instead of relying on mobile phone coverage, messages, SOS alerts and location tracking are transferred via the global Iridium satellite network.

Flexible Satellite Airtime Plans: To access the Iridium network and communicate with the inReach Mini 2, an active satellite subscription is required. It is posible to opt for an annual package or a flexible month-to-month plan.

Compact, Rugged Design: Despite the 4″ x 2″ size and 100g weight, inReach Mini 2 satellite communicator is tough, durable, impact resistant (MIL-STD-810) and water-rated to IPX7.

Augmented With Accessories: With the optional water-resistant case, bring the inReach Mini 2 satellite communicator on dives or other off-boat adventures. It protects the inReach Mini 2 with a water rating of 10 ATM.

Tracback Routing: The TracBack routing feature navigates back to the starting point back along the track taken, preventing the user from getting lost - right on the device.

Digital Compass: Get accurate heading information - even when not moving.

Battery Life: The internal, rechargeable lithium battery gives up to 14 days of use at the default 10-minute tracking mode and up to 30 days with a 30-minute tracking interval.

inReach Weather Forecast Service: Get detailed weather updates on inReach Mini 2 satellite communicator or a paired compatible device. It can even request forecasts for current location or other waypoints or destinations on the itinerary.

Unlimited Cloud Storage and Trip Planning: Get free access to the cloud-powered Garmin Explore website on any computer to plan trips, create preset messages and quick texts, sync and manage the device settings, and much more.

Connect to More Capabilities.

Garmin Explore App: Sync with the Garmin Explore website or the mobile app on any compatible smartphone for navigation, waypoints, courses, activities and collections. Also get access to trip planning and topographical mapping.

Other Garmin Devices: Remotely control inReach Mini 2 satellite communicator to send and receive messages, start and stop tracking, and trigger an interactive SOS using compatible Garmin handhelds, wearables or other mobile devices.

DO NOT BUY.
Update: Amazon refunded me the price of the mattress as I can’t really send it back now that it isn’t compressed and we do not live anywhere near a UPS store. I reached out to the seller as it is listed as having a 5 year warranty. The seller has so far only initially offered me a 10% refund, so not honoring their warranty at all. I have refused this and asked for either a full replacement or a replacement section for the one that is defective. We will see if they stand by their warranty! The package came SO compressed that one of the foam inserts never recovered. We opened it according to instructions, let it sit for 72 hours, and edges of foam were all so stuck together they did not rise properly. I had to take every piece out of both covers, manually pull apart the edges, and then let it rise again. We tried everything to get the third insert to be like the others- put it in a warm environment, put it in the bathroom where there is some more damp air, and still isn’t like the other two. It feels different as well- softer than the other two pieces. It’s like it is a totally different foam. It doesn’t fill out the cover completely and it is consequently very uncomfortable and not useable as one whole section is softer and thinner than the rest. I would like to return it but not sure how now that it is not compressed. Would not buy this product again. Very frustrating.
