Antique Kuba rugs are highly esteemed among collectors and enthusiasts for their intricate designs, vibrant colors, and high-quality craftsmanship. Originating from the Kuba region in the northeastern part of Azerbaijan, these rugs are renowned for their unique artistic elements and durable construction. Here’s an in-depth look at Kuba rugs: Kuba rugs are hand-knotted using the Turkish (or Ghiordes) knot, known for its strength and durability. The foundation is typically made of wool or a combination of wool and cotton, while the pile is predominantly wool. This knotting technique allows for detailed and intricate designs, contributing to the rug's longevity and aesthetic appeal. Kuba rugs are characterized by their detailed and complex patterns, which include: Geometric Motifs Common geometric shapes include diamonds, hexagons, and other polygonal forms, often arranged in intricate, repeating patterns. Floral Patterns Stylized flowers, leaves, and vines are frequently featured, adding a touch of elegance and natural beauty to the designs. Medallions Many Kuba rugs feature central medallions surrounded by intricate borders filled with smaller motifs. Borders The borders are typically elaborate, with multiple layers of designs that complement the central field. Color PaletteThese rugs often boast a rich and vibrant color palette, including deep blues, reds, yellows, and greens. The use of natural dyes results in harmonious and enduring colors. The Kuba region has a long-standing tradition of rug weaving, with its techniques and designs being passed down through generations. The weaving practices in this area are influenced by a blend of local traditions and external influences due to the region's strategic location along trade routes. Kuba rugs from the 19th century are particularly prized for their craftsmanship and artistry. Antique Kuba rugs are highly sought after by collectors due to their intricate designs, quality craftsmanship, and historical significance. The value of these rugs can vary widely based on factors such as age, condition, size, design complexity, and the quality of materials used. Well-preserved examples with intricate and unique patterns are particularly valuable. Antique Kuba rugs are exquisite examples of Caucasian weaving artistry, embodying the rich cultural heritage of the Kuba region. Their intricate designs, vibrant colors, and exceptional craftsmanship make them valuable additions to any home or collection. Whether used as floor coverings or displayed as decorative pieces, these rugs add a touch of elegance, history, and cultural richness to any space.Shipping Notes

A Retriever’s Dream!
Color: Magnolia
This is a great floating bite toy that’s perfect for our water loving standard poodle. The handle and firmly padded body of the toy are perfect for rowdy games of tug of war. The toy is nicely made with bite resistant materials and is holding up to heavy use in and out of the water.

Not for dogs that chew/ Update Seller Stands Behind their Product
Color: Con Leche
My 15 pound cavalier spaniel was in love with this toy, but it only took her about an hour to rip the end of it off and expose the contents. We had to take it away from her to prevent her from eating the inside. It might be good for a dog who only wants to play tug-of-war and not chew -wanted to send it back, but it was destroyed so we threw it in the trash. / As a update, I should have read the reviews and this is not for heavy chewers, I will say the seller was awesome and compensated me for this, thank you Olly!

Dog loves it.
Color: Con Leche
I use this tugger for training only. I use it to ween off treats as a reward as a playful tool. He associates it with this and this way it retains high value.

Nice appearance, lacks sturdiness in the long run
Color: Raven
Decent quality on the surface, but likely to eventually break down with aggressive tuggers or strong jawed dogs. Best for medium drive pups at best.
