Finally! A richly illustrated history encyclopedia that affirms your Christian Creationist beliefs instead of contradicting them. Author Nancy I. Sanders looks at history with a Biblical worldview, using the Bible as the trusted authority on history.

Starting with the Biblical truth of creation and moving to the Roman Empire, this first volume of a three-volume set engages students with fascinating facts, biographical vignettes, photographs of artifacts, and modern, full-color illustrations.

Ancient Civilizations

Discover dozens of ancient civilizations, including Sumer, Egypt, the Indus Valley Civilization, the Yellow River Valley, the Minoans, the Mycenaeans, the Hittites, the Phoenicians, ancient Israel, the Assyrian Empire, the Babylonian Empire, Persia, ancient Greece (Athens and Sparta), the Roman Empire, China (Early Emperors, Han Dynasty), the Land of the Rising Sun (Japan), the Olmecs and Yahgans, Ancient Peru, Cush, Early India, and the British Isles.

Accented with diagrams, maps, charts, and timelines, this reference book draws in young readers, giving them the visuals they need to comprehend cultures and events from ancient times.

  • Find out why the word dinosaur isn't in the Bible even though the animals are described there.
  • Discover how the Sumerians’ advanced understanding of circles impacts how we tell time and travel on wheeled vehicles today.
  • Make the connection between the ancient Phoenician alphabet and our own twenty-first-century English language.
  • Excavate the buried Terracotta Army of Qin Shi Huangdi and learn why the first emperor of China commissioned their creation.
  • Celebrate Hezekiah’s clever tunnel system that ensured water would be available to Jerusalem even when under siege.
  • Savor the sweetness of the Judean date, brought back from extinction after archaeologists planted ancient seeds.

Use it as a supplement for The World's Story 1 curriculum or let it live on your coffee table where curious minds can dive in anytime. Every page invites questions, answers them, and sparks new ones, building the kind of genuine curiosity that turns kids into lifelong history lovers. Excellent Cabinet Lights!
Color: 3000K Warm, Size: 1Roll x 16.4ft
Great cabinet lights. Easy to install and connect. The touch less control is handy and works well to dim and turn the lights on and off. Been using them for half a year now. No complaints.

It works to divide a room, but it's not easy to use.
Color: Grey, Size: 6 Panel
This comes in multiple pieces and you have to build every single piece including the cloth that is between the two poles. There are plastic clips to hold the sections together, but they easily come off if you move the dividers the wrong way or try to reposition it. The only thing holding it up is rectangular shaped feet on the bottom and they are a pain when you hit it with your toes. It works if you need to divide a room, but its not pretty and there are far better options. It's cheaply made and has a habit of falling down if you are trying to use it in a straight or slightly angled line.

Nice divider
Color: Black, Size: 6 Panel
Nice divider. Set up is a bear. I am a bit concerned with stability. Overall I like it.
