The Ronix Koal Surface Foil Board has been years in the making. Having spent this time on the sidelines and watching the fine tuning of foils, Ronix developed what they believe to be the perfect balance of characteristics for their board, giving you an ideal ride built with ease. So what makes this Ronix Koal Surface different? The perfect balance of buoyancy, just enough to provide you with the correct feel under your feet but not so much that it is difficult to deep-water start. Next was deflection; they took everything they knew of wakesurfing and threw it in the bin, reducing contact with the water and allowing the board to glance off the water when dropping too quickly, getting you back up to the height you need to be. Lastly, swing weight, and this is just a Ronix mainstay; they shed every ounce they could without compromising board strength.
Materials & Construction
- Surface Construction - A lightweight, durable outer construction that no matter how hard you surf it, throw down, chuck it, you shouldn't damage it.
- EPS Foam Core - A lightweight core that makes getting the board out of the water smoother and with increased performance
- Vacuum Bagged Finish - To ensure a high-quality, smooth finish, the surfer is placed in a vacuum-sealed bag to remove any excess resin, meaning a high-quality finish every time.
Shape
- Wide Mid Point - The last thing we want is not enough board to help get us back up and flying again, so increased width under your front foot increases the stability and control
- High Profile Nose Rocker - No nose diving here, this large nose rocker saves you from coming down too quickly and burying yourself
- Optimum Thickness - The perfect level of buoyancy for deep-water starts as well as maximising swing weight
Base
- Exaggerated Edge Bevel - The exact opposite of wakesurfing, it reduces friction and contact with the water, acting as two opposing forces to glance off and get you back up and flying.

Extremely temporary solution to pants

Very comfortable and good fit. But...they're extremely fragile. I bought three pairs one after the other as each failed. Typically only got a month or so of wear-time before a giant rip would appear along a major seam.
Great if you need a quick/temporary pair of jeans. Terrible if you plan to use these jeans for more than a couple of wash cycles.

Amazon essentials jeans

Wasn’t sure what I was going to get for such a low price, very happy with it. When I told my wife I bought a low priced Amazon essentials pair of jeans she said I shouldn’t wear them when I go out, just around the house and yard. After they arrived and I tried them on she changed her mind, said I should get several pairs. They fit perfectly and look great. Always appreciate a good deal!

Great jacket
Size: Large, Color: Antique Indigo, Size: Large, Color: Antique Indigo
5’ 10”, 160 lb, 46” chest, 38” waist.
I bought a size L jacket in antique indigo. I thought it might be too tight, but it fit perfectly, with enough room to wear a layer underneath. The sleeves were a good length, with maybe ½” extra for shrinkage in the wash.
It was difficult at first to button the jacket. I cleaned up the button holes carefully with a small pair of scissors and now it’s much easier.
I had tried the Levi’s Men’s Trucker Jacket, also in a L. It felt a bit snug in the chest and tight under the shoulder. Not much room for layering.
I decided to keep the Wrangler jacket. The fit is looser. I like the the square chest pockets (which will actually hold something) and straight vertical seams over the Levi’s small, tapered pockets and diagonal seams.
