Adjustment and Control

The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e aquarium heater is an evolution of the thermocontrol e model. Unlike its predecessor, this heater is not adjusted manually but is programmed and monitored wirelessly via WLAN using a smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC. The temperature can be set with precision between 18 to 32 °C. If the temperature strays by +/-2 degrees, you will receive an email alert if you have provided a valid address.

Synchronization with Other Devices

A standout feature of the thermocontrol+ e is its ability to synchronize with other devices in the EHEIM Digital Family, such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or the LED lighting control LEDcontrol+. This allows you to program temperature adjustments to occur when the filter flow increases or decreases or when the LED lighting is turned off or on. For instance, if the filter flow increases at night and the lighting is turned off, the set temperature will automatically adjust: 25 °C during the day and 23 °C at night. (Note: The heater does not cool the water as it lacks integrated cooling.)

WLAN Connection

The thermocontrol+ e is fully submersible and waterproof. However, for optimal WLAN connectivity, the heater should only be submerged up to the "water level" mark. For your device's security, each EHEIM thermocontrol+ e is encrypted from the factory (the password can be modified). Once the desired temperature is programmed, the Wi-Fi network can be turned off.
