This water conditioner effectively targets Ichthyophthirius multifiliis (the pathogen responsible for white spot disease) and other single-celled skin parasites including Ichthyobodo necator, Chilodonella, Trichodina, Brooklynella, and Cryptocaryon irritans (the latter found in marine environments), as well as providing protection against fungal infections (mycoses).
It is recommended to dim the aquarium lighting during the treatment period. Suitable for both fresh and marine water applications.
Note: this treatment is not suitable for cartilaginous fish (Chondrichthyes) or invertebrates!
