Catherine and Patrice Retif, winemakers since 1985, have converted their estate to organic agriculture over many years and got their certification in 2021. Their wines are an authentic and qualitative expression of Saumur Champigny

La Vague Rose is the rosé wine of the estate and a great Summer wine. Made with Cabernet Franc grapes, the whole vinification process is driven to express the red fruits aromas (currants, raspberry, strawberry) of the grapes and produce a mellow rosé wine which, when tasted, still didn’t lack the necessary acidity to be refreshing. As said, a great Summer wine, served chilled be it as an aperitif or along a light Summer dinner.
