The open sections on each end have a removable divider to allow storage of various items such as magnifiers, magnetic wands, safety glasses or other items used for experiments. The two covered sections are 3-1/4" high inside x 9" x 11-1/2". The open sections are 4" high x 5-1/4" x 11-1/2" and expand to 10-3/4" wide with the dividers removed. The unit can be placed inside 48" wide Straight-Shelf storage units for storage when not in use.
