The Faces behind Mako Design are a mother/daughter duo based in Ōtautahi/Christchurch. They named their business Mako Design after their whare tupuna at Little River, which is called Mako. Their mission is to create contemporary Māori jewellery that celebrates their heritage and empowers people, so that te ao Māori continues to thrive in Aotearoa.
