Biokil Crown Acrylic Wood Primer is a water-borne, air-drying primer formulated with high-quality pigments and a special acrylic resin. Designed for both interior and exterior use, it provides excellent adhesion and a uniform base for subsequent paint finishes on bare timber and masonry surfaces.

• Storage: Store in a dry, well-ventilated place between 5°C and 20°C. Protect from frost.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose or flaking materials. Rub down previously painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly. Avoid inhalation of dust; wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding.
2. Application: Stir well before use. Apply evenly using a brush, roller, or spray. Do not overspread.
3. Drying Time: Touch dry in approximately 30 minutes. Recoatable after 1–2 hours under normal conditions.
4. Cleaning: Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before washing. Wash equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water.

Limitations

• Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or externally when rain is imminent.
• When used externally, the primer must be kept dry before overcoating with a suitable external paint finish.

Health & Safety

Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. When spraying, do not breathe spray; wear suitable respiratory protective equipment. Keep out of reach of children.
