Powered Base — No Bending Required
The base legs open and close via a button on the hand pendant — no foot pedals, no manual spreading, no bending. For caregivers doing multiple transfers daily, this dramatically reduces cumulative physical strain. Legs open to 40.1" internal width for bariatric wheelchairs and close to 26.4" external width to pass through standard doorways.
Smart Monitor Technology
The two-sided LCD display tracks lift cycle count, overload protection events, service reminders, and emergency alerts in real time. Most lifts have no usage tracking — the Smart Monitor tells caregivers and facility managers exactly how many lifts have been performed and when maintenance is due, before a failure occurs rather than after.
Swan Neck Leg Design
The curved swan neck legs arch up and over low obstacles — power wheelchair bases, recliner footrests, low-profile bed frames — that prevent flat-leg lifts from getting close enough to the patient. The same design found on the Hoyer Advance-E, scaled up for a 500 lb institutional lift.
Full Lifting Range — Floor to 75.2"
Spreader bar range of 16.9" to 75.2" covers floor recovery transfers at the low end and high hospital bed frames at the top. The 4.7" furniture clearance with optional low-leg kit (2.4") fits under most beds including low-profile hospital frames. Overall height of 81.3" clears standard 8' ceilings.
Two Batteries + Offboard Charger
Ships with two rechargeable 24V sealed lead acid batteries and an offboard charging station. While one battery powers transfers, the other charges on the station — eliminating the downtime gap that single-battery lifts create in high-volume transfer situations.
6-Point Cradle — Versatile Sling Compatibility
The standard 6-point cradle works with both 4-point and 6-point slings as well as specialized positioning slings. Compatible with the full Hoyer sling range. Lightweight Aluminum Construction
Despite 500 lb capacity, the Presence frame uses lightweight aluminum — total unit weight with battery is 88 lbs. Notably lighter than steel-frame lifts at comparable capacity. Long padded handles with multiple grip positions accommodate caregivers of different heights.
