The Pelham bit combines the action of a snaffle with leverage similar to a curb bit. It features shanks and can be ridden with one or two reins. When used with a single rein, a Pelham strap is required to connect the snaffle rings to the shank rings. The Pelham is a leverage bit: the longer the shanks, the stronger the leverage effect. The Baby Pelham has shorter shanks and therefore a milder action than a standard Pelham. Pelham bits are mainly used for strong horses, horses with limited space in the mouth for two mouthpieces, or horses transitioning gradually to a stronger bit. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders.

Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made from elastic synthetic material and are highly flexible, making them very gentle on the horse’s mouth. Despite this flexibility, the bit remains stable thanks to a flexible stainless steel core.
Bits from the Inno Sense collection are suitable for all horses, but are particularly well suited for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The synthetic material used is FDA-approved, non-toxic and free from plasticisers. Horses quickly accept the Inno Sense mouthpiece and tend to follow the rider’s hand easily. The Inno Sense Flexi Soft is less suitable for very strong horses.
