Details: Singing Bowl, Decorated, with 4 1/2 inch opening. The overall measurement is 5 1/2 inches. Highly decorated spun bronze. Design may vary. Includes wooden beater and cushion. The bowls are made of Panchaloha: literally translated from Sanskrit as Five Metals. The metal alloys contain copper, tin, zinc, iron and other metals.Singing bowls are played by the friction of rubbing a wooden mallet around the rim of the bowl to produce overtones and a continuous 'singing' sound.
