Rokinon 20, 35, 50, 85mm Cine DS Lens Bundle (MFT Mount)

This B&H Kit provides four lenses that you can use to shoot images from wide shots to portrait; it includes Rokinon's 20mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm Cine DS Lenses in MFT mount. Each lens features sharp optics and similar physical characteristics for fast lens changes. The 35, 50, and 85mm lenses share a T-stop range of 1.5 to 22, while the 20mm is a little slower with an exposure range of T1.9 to T22. Each included lens features an MFT lens mount.

Aperture and focus scales are marked on both sides of the lens, which makes it easier for a focus puller to work either side of the lens. The lenses feature a multi-layer coating providing good contrast, a sharp image, and protection from veiling glare. Industry standard focus and iris gear rings share a common position across the lenses for quick lens swaps when working with lens accessories such as follow focus units. Focus and iris are manual only with no electronic focus or iris control by the camera, and the iris ring is de-clicked, which allows you to make smooth iris pulls during a shot.

The lens has an MFT mount and features industry standard geared focus and iris rings that share common position with other Rokinon Cine DS lenses. To aid focus pullers who have to work both sides of the lens, the aperture and focus scales are marked on both sides of the lens.
  
  This 20mm lens produces 56.1° angle of view when used with Micro Four Thirds cameras. Hybrid aspherical lenses render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of just under 8" from the lens. A removable petal shaped lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box, the lenses threaded front accepts a 77mm filter ring.

  This 35mm lens produces a 33.4° angle-of-view when used on a camera with a four-thirds sized sensor and MFT mount. Hybrid aspherical lenses render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of just under 12" from the lens. A removable petal shaped lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box, the lenses threaded front accepts a 77mm filter ring.

• Rokinon 50mm T1.5 AS UMC Cine DS Lens for Micro Four Thirds

  The 50mm T1.5 AS UMC Cine DS Lens for Micro Four Thirds from Rokinon is a fast manual focus prime lens. When used on Micro Four Thirds format cameras it offers a 35mm equivalent focal length of 100mm, pushing it into a telephoto angle of view. It provides a very fast maximum aperture of T1.5 for effective low light capture and shallow depth of field control and an 8 blade iris for attractive bokeh. O ptimized for cinema and video applications, t he focus and aperture control rings are outfitted with industry standard gearing, which provides an interface for working with a traditional follow focus. The aperture control ring has also been de-clicked, which enables smooth iris pulls. In addition, bright aperture and distance markings are printed on the lens barrel facing laterally to facilitate easier control by a focus puller.

  The 50mm has a minimum focus distance of 1.5'. Internal focusing minimizes the effects of lens breathing, which insures a more consistent angle-of-view when adjusting focus. The lens is composed of 9 elements in 6 groups, including one aspherical element and one hybrid aspherical element to reduce aberrations. In addition, a lens multi-coating helps to improve light transmission reducing flare and ghosting. The filter thread diameter is 77mm.

  With this 50mm lens, Rokinon introduces the DS series of cinema lenses, unifying their cine lenses in more than just name. Each of the DS branded lenses will offer the same alignment of their geared focus and aperture rings so that follow focus and other rig accessories won't need re-adjustment when swapping lenses. Also, each DS lens is tested to be color matched with the other lenses in the series and provide the same color and contrast when shooting video. Lastly, the lenses are marked with focusing scales on each side of the barrel for easier adjustment from either side of the camera.
