Coalmine Reissues is pleased to breathe new life into Ol’ Burger Beats’ 2019 Daybreaks LP, a shimmering body of work centered around the Norwegian composer’s knack for producing sublime, jazz-fueled instrumentals. Throughout the 17 tracks, Burger takes the listener on a journey through soul-jazz, funk, fusion, Brazilian rare-grooves and gospel records, all wrapped up in the format of an alternative hip-hop album. This special edition reissue is packaged with a new album cover hand-painted by acclaimed Norwegian artist, comedian and actor, Amir Asgharnejad. Vinyl Is pressed on an eye-catching ghostly sea blue disc with black and green splatter.
