Santa Ana 98 is better than ever, with an updated shape and construction. It is daunting to improve one of the best performing and best selling skis every offered, but Nordica is up to the task. This Santa Ana 98 raises the bar even higher.
• Terrain Specific rethinks how metal is placed in women's skis. Overall, the amount of metal used is reduced, lowering weight for an easier, lighter feel on the snow. The shape of the metal component is sculpted, reducing metal where it is not needed to further reduce weight. This ski feel much lighter and more playful on the snow than the previous version, but still incredibly stable, smooth and powerful.
• True Tip Technology consists of a longer wood core, extending further into the rocker profile at both ends of the ski. This allows the heavier urethane extenders inside the tip and tail to be made shorter, reducing swing weight substantially. True Tip gives the ski a lighter, more playful feel, while maintaining the Enforcer's incredibly smooth, powerful ,and stable feel that skiers have loved so much.
• Full length Carbon reinforcement running tip to tail is 35% lighter than the fiberglass it replaces. Replacing the bottom sheet of metal, carbon adds stability, and reduces weight, making the ski lighter and easier to move around on the snow. Lighter weight, with an increase in performance and versatility.
• All new shapes have closer sizing gaps, making it easier to choose exactly the size that you want. Also, tip and tail widths get wider as the skis get longer, so each size has a specific geometry all its own.
This is now a 100% ladies' specific with a totally different shape and construction than any men's model. Nordica has been leading the pack in terms of women's ski design for a very long time, and this ski takes that thinking to a whole new level. Slightly narrower, different core, different laminate components; overall this ski is significantly different in many, many ways compared to the men's model.
There are a lot of new design elements built into this new Santa Ana 98, but what has not changed is everything that the Santa Ana is so famous for. Full wood core of lightweight Balsa, with Titanal reinforcement, long slow rise rocker profile, and ABS sidewalls. What sets the Santa Ana apart from other ladies' skis is the great care Nordica engineers have taken to build a ski that takes into account what good skiers everywhere really want; versatility, performance, and ease of use. This new Santa Ana is even easier to ski on than the original, and yet capable of even more performance.
The amazing new Santa Ana 98 from Nordica redefines what an all mountain ski can be. It has plenty of width to float well in deeper snow, but at the same time, has a very short sidecut arc that allows it to be very nimble and quick from edge to edge on groomers. Its long, low rise rocker profile at tip and tail provides excellent flotation in powder, while it metal laminate and carbon construction with ABS sidewalls make it very powerful in crud, and super stable when going fast.
Never before has any ski maker combined all of these characteristics into a single ski model as successfully as Nordica has here. Especially if you are an off trail oriented skier, and maybe want to only own one pair of skis, SAnta Ana 98 should be at the top of your list. e46 Sedan Black Kidney Grill: Good fit with a better attachment mechanism than stock!

These kidney grill replacements were for a e46 sedan (323i). They fit really well. They come with a different type of attachment mechanism than other types I've used in the past: These have 'posts' with a slight groove that you gently pry into place against the hood's mounting tabs. It's a solid holding mechanism - much better than the tab-types I've seen in the past. These do not wiggle around, and feel very solid once mounted. They DID require a bit of fitting with a dremel where the hood release latch is mounted to the hood. I had to cut back about half-an-inch of the inner 'shell' of the grill so it didn't interfere with the latch when you pull 'up' on it to release the hood. Based on having an e46 sedan for 16+ years, and having replaced the kidney grills several times, I'm quite fine with a little bit of modification for a good fit. I like these quite a bit better than other aftermarket types, and even the OEM BMW grills. The price is good, and mounting is solid. I liked them so much, I purchased a second set for my son's 323i right after putting them on one of my 323i's.
I plan on getting a set for a 325Ci one that car needs replacements.

They fit super snug and the quality is way better than price suggests.
Size: For BMW E46 2002-2005
They came in wrapped very well in foam and bubble wrap. They felt sturdy and the matte finish was satisfactory. They needed quite some pressure to snap in but when they did you could tell they weren’t going anywhere. The fitment is perfect and it looks great. If the stubs in the car where the grille clips attach are in tact you shouldn’t have a problem. Don’t be discouraged by the negative reviews.

Good value for the money

The matte is flawless and looks pristine & super easy to install. It does fit and it’s a good enough fit for a daily driver; however, it’s not a flawless fit. It’s off by maybe a 1/16th on the inside corners. It’s amazingly close despite the price point…would definitely recommend.

VERY poor materials and fit for E46, WILL FALL OUT

This part resembles the original, but not enough.
It is both too big AND too small, depending on the dimensions. It's too small from top to bottom, and too big from side to side. The locking tabs don't get close enough to lock (see pics) because there is too little clearance. Viewing from the front, the outer top corner is so far out (see pics) that the most important tab cannot properly lock in, causing the grill to drop out into my hand (or the ground, if I wasn't there to catch it). The grill also is missing some important curves to follow the shape it is supposed to fit into.
It also wasn't matte black as ordered. It looks like it was spray-painted, but I can't be sure. it is made of VERY brittle plastic, and the locking tabs are VERY small and flimsy. I wouldn't expect this part to survive a month or two before blowing away in a medium breeze.
One positive is that there is a relief cut to allow the hood safety catch handle to move fully upward without interfering with the plastic grille. That one positive has a lot of making up to do, and there's no way it can do it. Add to that that the seller included instructions for a car fifteen years newer than the model advertised on the item page, and we have a complete failure. But don't worry! I'm sure the seller will probably delete the listing and make a new one so they don't have to have this honest review attached to it.

Quality grills for e46 BMW
Size: For BMW E46 2002-2005
No reason to buy replacement grills at the dealer or even at an auto parts store. These are great quality for a fraction of the price...and you get both sides. Highly recommended if you have an e46 and the grill plastic has deteriorated and is loose. These grills are thick and robust. I like them better than the original. Fit is snug but they look great.
