Mit dem Kantensäumerfuß von PFAFF® gelingen dekorative Kantenabschlüsse im Nu. Verleihen Sie Selbstgenähtem einen individuellen Touch unter Verwendung von Spitze und dekorativen Baumwollstoffen. Zusätzlich erhalten Sie wunderschöne Effekte mit dekorativen 9-mm-Zierstichen. Nähen Sie auch raffinierte Kantenabschlüsse an Dessous. Bei diesem Nähfuß werden Basisstoff und dekorativer Stoff, z. B. Spitze, durch die vorderen Öffnungen geführt, der Stoff wird umgelegt und gleichzeitig miteinander verbunden.

Anleitung:
1. Fädeln Sie normales Nähgarn oder Ziergarn als Oberfaden und normales Nähgarn als
Unterfaden in Ihre Nähmaschine ein.
2. Wählen Sie einen Stich Ihrer Wahl. Ein Beispiel: Sie können die Kantenabschlüsse mit einem Geradstich und einer 4-mm-Zwillingsnadel oder mit einem rechts positionierten dekorativen Zierstich auf dem Basisstoff annähen. Hinweis: Zierstiche mit Vorwärtsbewegung sind am besten geeignet. Vermeiden Sie daher Stiche mit zu vielen Rückwärtsbewegungen.
3. Legen Sie einen 6 mm Saum des Grundstoffes nach links um, fingerbügeln Sie ihn oder
verwenden Sie dafür das Bügeleisen.
4. Führen Sie die umgelegte Stoffkante mit der rechten Seite nach oben in die linke Stoffführung ein und den anzunähenden Stoff oder Spitze mit der rechten Seite nach oben durch die rechte Führung. Schieben Sie die umgelegte Stoffkante sowie den anzunähenden Stoff in den Nähfuß, bevor Sie diesen in die Nähmaschine einsetzen.
5. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich beide Stoffe leicht durch die Öffnungen führen lassen.
Hinweis: Dünne, unelastische Stoffe lassen sich am besten verarbeiten.
6. Setzen Sie den Kantensäumerfuß in die Nähmaschine ein.
7. Aktivieren Sie das IDT™-System.
8. Gehen Sie beim Nähen sorgfältig vor und nähen Sie nicht zu schnell. Lässt sich bei Ihrer
Nähmaschine die Geschwindigkeit regeln, dann reduzieren Sie die Nähgeschwindigkeit so,
dass Sie Basisstoff und die dekorative Kantenversäuberung leicht führen können. Halten Sie den Basisstoff beim Nähen in der linken und den dekorativen Kantenabschluss in der rechten Hand.

AS GOOD AS ANY OTHER, WORKS GREAT

Used this in my 17 RAM 1500. This stuff works great, just as good as S...ss brand that is also sold on here. Same thickness and same tackiness. And this stuff sticks like crazy, once its laid down and rolled onto the surface, it is hard to remove, so I am pretty sure it will stay where I installed it. It is great value, one box was enough to do the whole roof of the truck with a little left over for small spots. I think it took a total of 2.5 boxes to do my whole crew cab, roof, floor and back wall and most of the firewall, and I also added a layer of their .25" foam. I do notice a difference in less outside noise, from wind and road. I will be doing my wife car soon, and this is the product I will be using again, I recommend this.

Awesome, inexpensive alternative to name-brands!

Awesome. Stuck well with alcohol prep and time to let liquid flash-off. Very consistent, piece to piece. Backing peeled easily when desired. Compared to Amazon Basics, the butyl seemed a little thicker (infinitesimally) and stickier, foil was less thick than Amazon Basics. Very good value. Started with my nice car, but after completing project, sound dampened all cars in the immediate family it made such a noticeable difference in sound level and quality of music from soeakers. Recommended!

Great sound deadening material with easy installation.

This sound-deadening mat was easy to install on the roof of my Toyota FJ Cruiser. It significantly stiffened the roof and dramatically reduced the wind noise inside the vehicle caused by my roof rack and lights. I can actually carry on a conversation again without shouting while driving on the freeway.
The 36-square-foot package was enough for my application, with about three sheets left over. The tiles adhered well to the metal without any special surface preparation. I only wish I had done this sooner.
