Der amerikanische Foto-Konzeptionist Allan Sekula (*1951 in Erie) ist mit seiner Kombination von Fotografie und Essay, Performance und kritischem Journalismus eine der interessantesten Persönlichkeiten der zeitgenössischen Kunst. Seine Arbeiten kreisen vorwiegend um die Veränderung der Arbeitswelt unter den Vorzeichen einer globalen Wirtschaft - so auch sein viel diskutierter fotografischer Zyklus Fish Story, präsentiert auf der Documenta11. Die Publikation stellt das künstlerische Werk und dazugehörende Texte von Allan Sekula umfassend vor. Dabei schlägt sie einen Bogen von frühesten Arbeiten der siebziger Jahre bis in die Gegenwart, etwa zu dem bis dato populärsten Werk, Dear Bill Gates (1999), oder dem jüngsten Projekt, Black Tide (2002/03). Ein Interview von Benjamin H. D. Buchloh mit dem Künstler und ein Text zu Sekulas Interesse am Theatralischen, das die dokumentarisch-abbildende Seite seiner Arbeit konterkariert und Witz sowie feine Ironie ins Spiel bringt, runden den Band ab. Great dog toy

The amount of stupid and cute these dogs look like when they shake this ball and smack their own faces! It took a hot second for either dog to understand where to bite on the ball, but now that they do, they both will play with it for a while. Great purchase, came with a pump to blow the ball up.

Heavy chewers can't break these alone.

These toys are AWESOME! As long as you don't get tricked into playing tug of war with them, they will last a very long time (almost 2 months) with a heavy chewer that tears through most toys in a couple hours. The tug pressure rips a seam. Then, that portion is a goner. However, the rest of the toy stays intact.

Well made & my dog LOVES them!

Great value for FIVE very cute and well made stuff-less toys with crinkly paper inside and TWO squeakers each. My dog loves playing with them! I have two in his toy box and put three up to save for later for backup if/when he destroys the first two. 😂 I love the cute and unique designs of the squirrel, donkey, fox, cow, and giraffe, too.
